Help Individuals and Families

Help support your neighbors in need by donating tangible goods to the Mobile Response Center, the Catholic Charities’ Thrift Store, or Catholic Charities' Housing Programs.

What We Do

Catholic Charities relies on the goodwill and generosity of our neighbors.  Your donations will help ensure our clients receive daily living support and enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.

Mobile Response Center

The Mobile Response Center delivers basic supplies such as hygiene products, diapers, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and more directly to struggling communities each month. The families we serve are desperately poor and your donations can them provide a clean and safe environment for their households.  Depending on the need and condition, seasonal items are also collected. Learn more about the items needed by the MRC! To schedule a Mobile Response Center drive for your Parish, contact Lori.Sikra@ccda.net.

Thrift Shop - Christ House

NOTICE: We are sorry to report the phone lines at the Christ House Thrift Shop are temporarily not working. If you know the individual you are trying to reach, please email them directly. If you do not know the name of the person, please email TS-CH@ccda.net or deborah.biddle@ccda.net.

The Christ House Thrift Shop serves thousands of poor and beautiful souls every year. We sell gently used items to the public--100% of the proceeds from the shop support the Emergency Assistance program which assists families in crisis–-and we also provide clothing vouchers to the homeless and low-income.

New Hours of Operation

  • Thursday and Friday: Open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Monday through Wednesday: Closed

Note: Due to the generosity of our loyal donors, we are full at the Thrift Shop and have temporarily suspended accepting donations through May.

The Thrift Store Clothing Voucher Program is temporarily suspended for the near future.
