Donate and Distribute Food

Almost a quarter of a million people in the Diocese of Arlington are “food insecure,” meaning they do not know where their next meal is coming from. Help our St. Lucy Food Project collect and distribute food where it is most needed in the Diocese.

St. Lucy Project

As people throughout the 21 counties of the diocese still struggle with the economic fallout from COVID-19, the need for food is ever present. Over a quarter of a million people in the Diocese of Arlington are 'food insecure' with 1 in 4 being children. Catholic Charities' St. Lucy Food Project is our way of addressing the problem of the invisible hungry within our Diocese.

    Here's how you can help:

    • Purchase food virtually using our Amazon wishlist
    • Donate any of the below needed food items to a parish food drive or drop off in the safe bins located at our Manassas warehouse or one of our three food pantries.

      • Cooking oil, sugar, flour, masa
