Coronavirus/COVID-19 Information:

Preventative measures to safeguard our clients, volunteers and staff are in place at all Catholic Charities programs. During the coronavirus pandemic, counselors are providing counseling via secure telephone or video conferencing, and are able to serve residents from throughout our diocese.

At Catholic Charities' Family Services, we provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. We integrate the Catholic faith into our services, which are available to people of all faiths and backgrounds. We are committed to empowering clients to overcome emotional and/or behavioral obstacles that prevent them from realizing their full God-given potential. Our staff members bring compassion and diverse clinical experience to the services they provide our clients. We offer a mix of counseling services including distance telehealth as well as in person at a variety of locations in the Diocese of Arlington, including 4 parishes.

Psychological Assessments

At Catholic Charities' Family Services, we offer psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults within the Diocese of Arlington.  While we are a part of Catholic Charities, we offer services to anyone in need.  The cost for a psychological assessment is based on a sliding scale which can make receiving an assessment more affordable.  We offer assessments for diagnosis of mental health concerns as well as vocational assessments for religious orders.

To receive assessment services, call our South intake line at 703-859-3147.
