Our Mission

Prayer Warriors

Prayer Warriors support families and individuals suffering from addiction or incarceration through the power of prayer.

Pray for Those Whom Are Addicted or Incarcerated

Our Goal:

Our hope is that the Prayer Warriors’ “hearts” of silent prayer will join with the Scared Heart of Jesus in His love for those who suffer. Let us bombard God with our sincere concerns for our loved ones who are addicted or incarcerated. It is with a softened and renewed heart that we offer our petitions to God and ask Him for His guidance and His strength to help those who struggle daily.

“I will give you a new heart and a place a new spirit within you, taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts… You shall be my people, and I will be your God.” - Ez. 36: 26, 28

Please join us in prayer! To become involved or to ask questions please email: HopeNotOpioids@ccda.net.

  • To submit a prayer request, put “prayer request” in the subject line.
    • Our petitions are varied and may include prayers for:
      • Our brothers and sisters living in the confines of jail or prison
      • Those suffering from drug or alcohol addictions
      • Those experiencing success with recovery or our returning citizens who have recently been released from prison
      • The families of those who are struggling
      • Prison guards, medical professionals or others who work with the addicted and incarcerated
  • To become a Prayer Warrior, put “Prayer Warrior” in subject line and include your name.
    • Prayer Warriors receive a monthly email with prayer request. Please intentionally incorporate these requests into your daily prayer routine, offer a rosary, or spend time reflecting on the Sacred Heart of Jesus in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
