Immigration 101 and Citizenship Workshops

As part of National Migration Week 2021, CCDA is offering two virtual workshops: Immigration 101 and Path to Citizenship.

Register for the Immigration 101 Zoom Session on September 20, 2021 11 a.m.

U.S. immigration law can be very confusing! There are many misunderstandings about whether and how individuals can apply for lawful status in the U.S. This presentation covers the basic categories of immigration status, the family-based immigration process, refugee and asylee processes, humanitarian-based types of status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and how individuals become citizens through naturalization. Bring your questions and curiosities and speak with an immigration expert to learn more about this complex issue.

Register for the Path to Citizenship Zoom Session  on September 20, 2021 6:30 p.m.

Are you interested in learning how individuals can become naturalized citizens of the U.S.? Are you wondering if you are eligible to naturalize? Our Naturalization Manager will explain the process and requirements for U.S. citizenship in this session.
