Program and Case Aid

I recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University this May 2019, with a Sociology major and a minor in Gender Studies.  I have plans to obtain my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh but first wanted to obtain some direct social work experience.  I initially joined Pregnancy and Adoption Support when I sought a summer internship with the program which has since evolved into my current position as the Program and Case Aide.

I love what I do because I enjoy working with different clients, helping them build their forever families. I am motivated to work in this field because I’ve seen the hard work, compassion, and persistence the social workers show towards their clients. I want to follow in those footsteps.
