Feeding the Hungry, Nourishing the Soul

Food

Close to 200,000 people in the Arlington Diocese are food insecure, meaning they do not know where their next meal is coming from. As a Catholic response to the hunger and food insecurity in our Diocese, Catholic Charities conducts a diocesan-wide outreach to collect and distribute food where it is most needed through the St. Lucy Food Project.

St. Lucy Food Project

Catholic Charities believes passionately in a future without hunger.  If you're in need of food, please click on our local pantries list to find a food distribution location near you.

*Each partner pantry operates under its own guidelines. Please contact the pantry individually to determine hours of operations and eligibility requirements.

Evening Meal

Catholic Charities’ Christ House in old town Alexandria offers a warm evening meal every night of the year to homeless and low-income individuals.
